Get ready to roll, Memphis! The award-winning Sunset Skate (2024 Best in Black: Best Arts & Culture Initiative) returns, bigger and better than ever, on the last Thursday of each month, May through August, under the Sunset Canopy in Tom Lee Park.
Join Memphis River Parks Partnership for free 30-minute skate rentals provided by Cordova Skating Center (first come, first served), high-energy DJ sets spun by the Voice of MSCS (88.5FM), skate dance lessons with Step and Skate from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. and NEW themed skate nights.

Thursday, May 29 - SuperMANE 🦸♂️ Come dressed to save the day, skate strong and enjoy bounce houses.
Thursday, June 26 - Summer Bash 🏝️ Skate into summer with tropical fun and surprise splashes.
Thursday, July 31 - Back 2 School 📚 Roll into the school year with giveaways (while supplies last) and good vibes.
Thursday, August 28 - Yeah GLOW! 🌟 Light up the night with free glow sticks (while supplies last).
Don’t miss out on Memphis’ hottest outdoor skate night—Sunset Skate is THE place to be! Grab your crew, lace up your skates and let’s roll into an unforgettable season on the riverfront. Protective gear (pads, wrist guards or helmet) is not provided—please bring your own.
